A Virtual Assistant is an independent contractor…an entrepreneur.

This field is a very exciting one to be in…mainly because you are fully responsible for your career.

Virtual Assistants draw jobs to themselves, and perform these jobs with a professionalism that is necessary because their jobs are a reflection of themselves.

Rather than work for only one employee, a Virtual Assistant, maintains both long term and short term projects for different business entities.  A lot of the work is project-based.  Should a long term contract come about that involves professional and effective working relationship between a VA and another party, then that in itself is a great thing.

But the flexibility is the selling point with this job…it empowers one in ways that possibly a 9 to 5 job never will for someone else.

As a VA you must have vision…vision to see a project though to its finality and to fulfill every goal and more that the project requires.

This is a fulfilling career move, and one than can bring about great satisfaction both career wise and personally.
